Igor Trifunov is the most successful Serbian magician and illusionist of the new generation. He has achieved success at numerous world competitions, including fourth place at the World Championship of Magic in Rimini, Grand Prix at the Balkan Congress of Magicians, and first place at the magic competition in Baden. He is the creator of the TV series Street Magic, the children’s show Igor’s Magic Show, the illusionist show Igor’s Magic Spectacle, and the international spectacle Magic Variety.

He was born on January 1, 1973, in Belgrade. He first showed interest in magic during elementary school, when he had no idea it would become his profession. Even then, he amazed his peers with his first tricks at school trips and parties. In the final years of elementary school, he also began practicing karate, and later as a high school student, he participated in youth competitions and started winning his first medals.

Igor’s first public performance was in the New Year’s program in 1990 on Radio Television Belgrade. Later, he became increasingly drawn to magic literature, and spent his free time practicing magic tricks. Soon he began to pursue this art professionally, performing at many birthday parties, television shows, and New Year’s performances.

He continued to advance his career by working on new magic acts together with the doyen of Serbian magic, Milivoje Mića Bugarčić. He began collaborating with his assistant Ana Dimitrijević and won the Grand Prix at the III Balkan Congress of Magicians held in 2002 in Belgrade. This was followed by numerous performances at corporations, embassies, television stations, as well as appearances at magic congresses in the country and abroad. He gained wider popularity with his original TV series “Street Magic”.
